Taylor Swift’s celebrity friends may be choosing sides in her ongoing ‘feud’ with fellow pop superstar Charli XCX.

Swift’s longtime allies Cara Delevingne and Ed Sheeran were caught mingling with her rumored nemesis at Saturday’s Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.

It comes just weeks after Swift released a purported diss track about Charli on her new album, The Life Of A Showgirl, which includes the venomous lyric: ‘I heard you call me “Boring Barbie” when the coke’s got you brave.’

At one point during the gala, Delevingne and Sheeran posed for a friendly photo with Charli and her close pal Rachel Sennott, 30. Swift notably was not in attendance.

Delevingne then proceeded to share the photo with her 40 million Instagram followers on Wednesday along with other snapshots taken at the starry event.

Both Delevingne and Sheeran have been a part of Swift’s inner circle for over a decade and they have even worked with the Grammy-winning singer professionally.

The supermodel first met Swift in 2013 at that year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

She quickly became a member of Swift’s ‘squad,’ which also included fellow models Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss and Lily Aldridge.

Swift’s ‘squad’ was known for their pap walks through New York City and were often featured on the superstar’s Instagram.

In 2015, Delevingne starred in Swift’s iconic, star-studded Bad Blood music video as an assassin named ‘Mother Chucker.’

Swift and Delevingne were so close that the duo actually ended up living together at one point.

Delevingne recalled moving in with Swift to Interview magazine last year, admitting that she took the superstar on a ‘wild ride.’

‘I was going through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her,’ she shared.

‘We’re very different people. She’s very homely, because she looked after me so well, but we got into some — not trouble, but I definitely took her for a bit of a wild ride.’

Delevingne did not reveal when she and Swift had lived together but she did go on to describe her longtime BFF as ‘one of the funniest, most clever people.’

She notably attended Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour in 2023 and the singer even attended one of Delevingne’s Cabaret performances in London’s West End in 2024.

More recently, Delevingne publicly congratulated Swift on her engagement to NFL hunk Travis Kelce in August.

Delevingne also has a tight friendship with Charli.

She flaunted her bond with the Crash hitmaker on Instagram just months before Swift’s diss track release as they partied together at Glastonbury in the UK.

As for Sheeran, he and Swift have been in each other’s lives since 2012.

They reportedly formed a friendship after Swift voiced she was a fan of his 2011 song Lego House.

The two musicians have released four songs together over the last 13 years, including the 2012 hit, Everything Has Changed.

Swift famously brought Sheeran on as her opening act for the North American leg of her Red Tour in 2013. Since then, the pals have made several surprise appearances at each other’s concerts.

Sheeran was a fixture on Swift’s Instagram for years as she would document their low-key hangouts as well as their antics at high-profile award shows like the Grammys.

Swift even previously described the Shape Of You hitmaker as a ‘second brother.’

However, fans feared for the duo’s longtime friendship after Swift revealed earlier this month that she ‘forgot’ to tell Sheeran about her and Kelce’s engagement.

Instead, Sheeran was forced to find out the news on Instagram, where Swift and Kelce made the big announcement on August 26.

‘[Sheeran] doesn’t have a phone! He doesn’t have a phone! This is one thing I do love about him, it’s very eccentric, love it,’ the Anti-Hero songstress explained during her October 6 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

‘But when I’m going through, being like, “hey, hey, who should we call? Who should we FaceTime?” I’m going through my texts, and being like, who have I texted within the last month of my life. And [Sheeran] just wasn’t there.’

She continued: ‘Because you have to like email him and then if you want to FaceTime he has to find an iPad and they have to give it to him like a child, like how you give the iPad to a child!

‘This is one of my absolute favorite people on the planet and then when the news came out I was like, “Oh my god! We forgot to call Ed!”

‘Oh no, he is like family but he doesn’t have a phone.’

Sheeran does not appear to be close friends with Charli, though she did famously transform into the Shape Of You star for an episode of Paramount Network’s Lip Sync Battle back in 2018.

Sheeran and Delevingne’s photo op with Charli at Saturday’s gala came just days after the Brat hitmaker issued a ‘no response’ response to Swift’s rumored diss track about her.

Since its release on October 3, fans believe Swift’s song Actually Romantic, off her The Life of A Showgirl album, is aimed at Charli.

When asked about it in her new Vanity Fair cover story, the British pop star ‘declined to comment on the situation.’

Her non-response occurred shortly after she appeared to throw shade at Swift by donning a Kansas City T-shirt during her recent Saturday Night Live cameo.

Charli’s last album, 2024’s hugely successful project titled Brat, included the song Sympathy is a knife, whose lyrics fans have interpreted to reference Taylor.

Also included on the LP is a song called Everything is romantic, which would tie into fans’ theory that Swift’s Actually Romantic is Charli-related.

Actually Romantic includes the line, ‘I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave.’

Speaking with Amazon Music recently, Swift broke down the meaning of her buzzy track Actually Romantic.

‘Actually Romantic is a song about realizing that someone else has kind of had a one-sided adversarial relationship with you that you didn’t know about,’ she explained.

Swift added, ‘And all of a sudden they start doing too much, and they start letting you know that, actually, you’ve been living in their head rent free and you had no idea.’

She continued, ‘It’s presenting itself as them sort of resenting or having a problem with you, but taking that and you just accepting that as love, and you just accepting it as attention and affection.

‘How flattering that someone has made you such a big part of their reality and you didn’t even think about this. It’s actually pretty romantic if you really, really think about it.’

Neither Charli nor Swift has confirmed or denied their rumored fallout.
