Green Bay Packers kicker Lucas Havrisik set a new franchise record by making a 61-yard field goal as time expired in the first half on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The field goal was the first in franchise history of at least 60 yards; the previous record was 58 yards, set by Mason Crosby in 2011.
Jordan Love’s 22-yard completion to Romeo Doubs with one second left gave Havrisik — who just signed with the Packers last Saturday as an injury replacement for Brandon McManus — a chance to put three points on the board, and he came through.

Havrisik’s field goal cut the Cardinals’ lead to 13-6 to end the second quarter.
Here’s the record-setting kick:
Havrisik’s kick from the right hash mark stayed straight and just cleared the cross bar.
Havrisik has been perfect over 1.5 games with the Packers this season. He made two field goals and three extra points during last Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’s 2-for-2 — with makes from 31 yards and 61 yards — on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
