The Dallas Cowboys are heading into a “must win” game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Sitting at 2-3-1, Dallas needs to string together a few wins to get back into contention in the NFC East. The Commanders come in at 3-3, while both teams are chasing Philadelphia at 4-2.
However, Dallas had some major news to announce prior to this weekend’s matchup.
Before their matchup with the Commanders, the Cowboys get CeeDee Lamb Back

Trevon Diggs, the team’s cornerback, was ruled out Friday after sustaining a concussion in an accident at his home. However, CeeDee Lamb, the team’s star wide receiver, is likely to return:
Lamb hasn’t played since Week 3, when he suffered an ankle injury in a loss to the Chicago Bears.
However, Lamb logged limited practice time the last two days with the expectation that he would return for the game.
On Friday, the Cowboys released the official injury report, and Lamb was a full participant in practice, which is good news for the Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network also confirmed that Lamb will play.
“WR CeeDee Lamb was a full participant in practice today, is officially off the injury report and will return Sunday vs. Washington,” Pelissero wrote.

Lamb has 16 catches for 222 yards without a touchdown this season.
However, he had 101 receptions for 1,194 yards with six scores in 2024 and 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 scores in 2023, so he is a favorite target for Prescott.
The Cowboys face the Commanders (3-3) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox.
