Taylor Swift was not in attendance for the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The multi-Grammy Award-winning artist was in Toronto after completing her first three “Eras Tour” shows in the city, and Swift opted to skip the game in Buffalo.
Despite not being at the game, Swift still caught wind of a now-viral incident that centered around a photo of a Kermit the Frog doll wearing a Patrick Mahomes jersey hanging in the streets of Buffalo. After all, it was impossible to miss considering how the photo completely blew up all over social media.
According to a report from Daily Mail, the incident drew quite a strong reaction from both Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce. So much so, that Swift reportedly reached out to Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.
“Taylor’s friends said she and Travis found it incredibly disturbing,” the Daily Mail’s insider revealed. “She has talked to Brittany who was really taken aback.”
Swift and Brittany Mahomes have formed quite a strong bond since the “Fortnight” singer started going out with Kelce. They’ve gone on multiple double dates along with the two Chiefs stars.
Patrick Mahomes also revealed recently that Swift has gotten close to their kids, with the 34-year-old recording artist bonding with their three-year-old daughter, Sterling Mahomes, by baking sweet treats together.
On Nov. 4, during the Chiefs’ “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Swift and Brittanty Mahomes were spotted together in the players’ suite at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
At one point in the game, Patrick Mahomes suffered an injury, which prompted a worried reaction from his better half. Swift was seen consoling Brittany Mahomes while they were waiting for news on the injury, which fans believe was an indication of the genuine friendship between the two Chiefs WAGs.
The Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday after falling to the Bills at Highmark Stadium, 30-21.
