The Boston Red Sox may be out of the playoffs, but several of their players are still keeping up with the action.

One of them, Red Sox pitcher Brayan Bello, even trolled the New York Yankees on social media after they fell behind by five runs in the third inning of ALDS Game 3 against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Bello posted a giggling emoji over a black screen with no caption to his Instagram story, implying that he was enjoying the Yankees’ poor start.

Unfortunately for Bello and Boston fans, New York rallied for a 9-6 win at Yankee Stadium to stave off elimination. The Yankees will try to even the series at 2-2 on Wednesday behind Cam Schlittler, who ended the Red Sox’s season with his historic performance in Game 3 of the AL Wild Card Series last week.

Bello struggled against New York in his Game 2 start, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk before getting pulled in the third inning. Boston went on to lose the game by one run, letting the Yankees back in the series.

Like Bello, many Red Sox fans have become Blue Jays fans over the last few days, cheering for New York’s demise. David Ortiz, who works as a studio analyst for FOX, has been quick to troll the Yankees, along with colleagues Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, every chance he gets during the series.

Toronto will try to wrap up the ALDS on Wednesday behind a bullpen game. If the Blue Jays succeed, they’ll advance to the ALCS for the first time in nine years.
