Winning The Sporting News hardware for executive of the year was Matt Arnold.  Most projections did not have the Brewers repeating as division champions this year but Matt Arnold showed brilliance by getting contributors back in the Corbin Burnes trade, locking up Jackson Chourio before his MLB debut, signing free agent Rhys Hoskins, and by promoting Pat Murphy from bench coach to manager.
