Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series between the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs took place on Wednesday at Wrigley Field. The Cubbies had pushed the Pads to the brink in the best-of-three series. There were plenty of celebrities at the game, including John Cusack, Eddie Vedder, Chris Chelios, and current Blackhawks star Connor Bedard. The faithful at the Friendly Confines failed to go home happy as Padres pitching and a Manny Machado home run forced a Game 3 with a 3-0 victory.
