The Dallas Cowboys are set to take on the Houston Texans in a Week 11 “Monday Night Football” game. It’s an opportunity for Dallas to get back in the win column after suffering four consecutive losses. Dallas enters Monday’s contest with a 3-6 record, as injuries and poor play have led to a rough season. Quarterback Dak Prescott was placed on the injured reserve and is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season with an avulsion fraction to his hamstring.
The Cowboys did catch a break after superstar linebacker Micah Parsons returned from a high ankle sprain in Week 10 after missing four games. Unfortunately, Parson’s return wasn’t enough, as Dallas fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 34-6. With eight games remaining on the schedule, including Monday night’s contest against the Texans, there is still hope for the Cowboys to get back on track for a postseason run. However, the bad omens seemingly continued hours before kickoff after a piece of the roof at AT&T Stadium fell to the ground, according to Noah Bullard of NBC 5 Sports.

It nearly hit “multiple production people,” per Jeff Kolb of Fox 4. Luckily, there are no reports of any injuries occurring from the incident.
“Dangerous moment just now inside AT&T Stadium where a big piece of sheet metal fell from the roof and almost hit multiple production people.” Sports fans were quick to react to the news on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many shared takes believing the piece of stadium roof is symbolic of the Cowboys’ struggles in the 2024 season.
“EVERYTHING is falling apart for the Cowboys,” said a Boston-based YouTube show. One fan claimed, “If that’s not a sign from God i don’t know what is… whole organization falling apart.” “Indicative of the team,” stated another fan. This user stated, “The roof is quite literally crashing down on the Cowboys.” “Thank goodness no one was hurt,” exclaimed one individual. The Texans-Cowboys “Monday Night Football” game is set to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. Est. AT&T Stadium’s roof will likely remain closed for the game.
